It took me a long time to figure out who I was. Now I realize that you aren't born as anyone in particular, and you can change yourself into anything, really, if you truly desire it. I think I've done that successfully, presumably for the better.

I've become pickier and pickier about my friends as time goes on. No use for me to be drained by people who just look to take and can't give anything in return. But I'm usually pretty flexible about who gets to read my journal...you're considered a nice, decent, unselfish person until proven otherwise, in my book.
